We provide a Sales Contract for all puppies sold. We provide you with a copy of a typical contract for you to read before
any purchase is considered.
We do require a non returnable deposit to hold any puppy which is currently £200. To secure a puppy at birth £200 deposit
is required by cheque which will be returned if upon your first visit to pup you change your mind. However, if you decide
subsequently that you do not wish to have the puppy the deposit is forfeited. (If at any time after you take the puppy home
you find you are unable to keep the puppy you may return it and we shall either keep the puppy/dog or home it to a thoroughly
vetted home. We can not guarantee you will receive any monies should you do this. If any monies are received for the dog we
reserve the right to deduct all/any costs incurred by us).
BALANCE IS REQUIRED preferably by BANKERS DRAFT/BUILDING SOCIETY CHEQUE. PAPERWORK WILL BE FORWARDED
ON WHEN CHEQUE HAS CLEARED.
If you wish to pay by personal cheque we shall require 7 working days for clearance before the puppy is picked up.
We will take cash but prefer not to have large sums of money in cash.
PLEASE READ THE CONTRACT BELOW BEFORE CONSIDERING PURCHASING ONE OF OUR DOGS. WE
DO EXPECT ALL BUYERS TO ABIDE BY ALL THE CONDITIONS. We only impose the strict conditions to
preserve the welfare of the breed and we will lift the restrictions on our dogs on production of satisfactory
medical certificates and proof that the dog is in good physical, mental health and of suitable age i.e. not
too old or too young.

HEALTH & WELFARE
This Dog is believed to be in good health and is sold in good faith. Every care has been taken with the
breeding of this Dog, its rearing and welfare. No Warranty is made as to health or disposition of the Dog.
Every effort has been made to avoid possible inherited conditions. Conditions known/thought to be inherited
in the breed are eye problems, e.g. cataracts. All relevant existing screening schemes have been undertaken.
[In the case of Griffon Bruxellois there are no relevant schemes for this breed.] The mother of the Dog has also been DNA tested.
BEFORE purchase you should seek information from your vet about this breed and the diseases to which it is prone
whether genetic or otherwise. If these diseases should develop later in life after a satisfactory initial
examination I cannot be held responsible.
PURCHASER’S RIGHT TO RETURN THE DOG IN CASE OF A DEFECT
You are strongly advised to take the Dog to your own vet within 72 hours of purchase for a general health
check, advice on inoculations and worming. If your vet finds a problem which in his opinion render the
puppy unfit for sale. I will take back the puppy and refund purchase price in full, on condition the puppy
is returned within 3 days in the condition it was sold. A written certificate must be provided from the Vet .
This check and any tests or examinations are at your own expense. [The Purchaser(s) hereby acknowledge(s)
that the Breeder has disclosed the following faults or defects in the Dog: …] No responsibility can be accepted
for any distress caused should the puppy need to be returned. Puppies become much loved members of in a
very short period of time. This is why your attention has been drawn to this possibility.
POTENTIAL OF DOG
The Dog is sold as a pet only. It may well have show/gun dog/breeding or other potential. I make no warranty
that any of this potential may be realised.
ENDORSEMENTS
This puppy has two endorsements of which you have been made aware and they are:-
Progeny not eligible for registration; and
Not eligible for export pedigree
It may be possible to have the endorsement against breeding removed provided that the relevant health
certificates are obtained. In the case of a bitch she must be of a recognised age for breeding purposes
and in good general physical and mental health. This would also apply to a stud dog. This is to ensure
that the welfare of your dog and the breed in general is protected. Dogs must undergo and have a clear
result under BVA eye scheme (including gonioscopy). If you are moving abroad and wish to take your dog
the endorsement against exporting could be lifted. This endorsement is to control and prevent the export
of unsuitable dogs.
REHOMING OF THE DOG
The Purchaser(s) agrees that if at any time in the Dog’s life, the Purchaser(s) need to rehome the Dog, the
Breeder will be the first to be informed. The Purhcaser(s) will, if the Breeder requests, return the Dog to the
Breeder. The Breeder will offer every reasonable assistance to find a new home.

Free 8 week insurance (16 if you return Kennel Club registration as soon as it arrives) (also optional

DECLARATION BY PURCHASER:
I/We confirm that I/we have read and had a full explanation of all the detail and meaning of the contract
prior to purchase and I/we fully understand its purpose and reason. I/We also confirm that I/we are purchasing
this Dog for myself/ourselves and not as agents for a third party. Buyer agrees that he/she understands this
contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the law in England & Wales. It is agreed
that the place of venue shall be in Caerphilly County, South Wales
